|SVOYE: The Nationwide Student Sociological Magazine
“SVOYE” is an independent nationwide magazine of sociology students, which aims to serve as the space for creativity, quest, and unity of young sociologists from across Ukraine.
“SVOYE” arose in 2010 as an informal initiative of a group of students of the Faculty of Sociology, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, under the original title “Student Newspaper of the Faculty of Sociology.” Over time it has undergone several changes of its title to “Sociatis Viribus: The Student Newspaper of the Faculty of Sociology,” “SV: The Student Newspaper of the Faculty of Sociology,” and “SVоє: The Student Sociological Magazine.” Finally, in 2014 the periodical transcended its original institutional confines. Since then it is published under the title “SVOYE” with nationwide appeal and circulation.
The pages of “SVOYE” are intended to serve as a forum for original and keen discussion of sociology, education, and science, as well as on more general issues of society and student life.
“SVOYE” is published in online and printed versions.
