The Scientific conference “Second Modern: identities and drawing borders (personality, social group, society)” is to be held on June 13-14th 2013.

The following issues are to be reviewed.
1. Identity: history and theory of the subject.
2. Identitet and identity.
3. Typology of identities.
4. Identity as discursiveness.
5. Hierarchy of identities.
6. Identities and borderlines in society.
7. Transition towards Second Modern and transformation of identities.
8. Group identities in the contemporary world.
9. “Class return” and class identities.
10. Territorial identities.
11. Settler identities.
12. National and ethnic identities.
13. Religious identities in the contemporary world.

During the conference a symposium “Islamic identity: confrontation lines and harmony prospects” is to be held as a part of it.

It is scheduled to release a bulletin for the conference “Visnyk of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University. Sociological sciences”.

Application and the text of the articles will be accepted until June 1, 2013. Publication of articles - after the conference.

All the articles have to meet the following requirements:
1. The article have to be in the Ukrainian, Russian, English and Polish languages and arranged as follows:
- Name, surname and patronymic (to the right);
- Title of the article (centre);
- Text of the article;
- The list of references;
- Annotations in the Ukrainian, Russian and English languages (minimum 500 characters);
-Key words.

2. Structure of the article has to contain the following elements:
- formulation of the subject-matter in general and its connection with important scientific and practical issues;
- analysis of the latest publications, where the reviewed subject is considered;
- pointing out the previously unsolved problematic parts of the subject, the article is devoted to;
- Stating the goal of the article;
-Presenting the basic research material with groundings of the scientific results obtained;
- Conclusion of the research;
- Prospects of the further scientific efforts in the given field.

3. Technical requirements to the articles.
- The size of the article - 20 000 characters (including the list of references, tables, annotations etc.), pages have to be numerated.
- Times New Roman print has to be used, size -14, spacing 1,5, upper and lower fields-2 cm., left field – 3 cm., right field – 1,5 cm.
- References and notes have to meet the following requirements: references given in square brackets with number of the reference and the page ([7, p. 11]), notes given on every page automatically.
4. Every article has to be recommended for publication by scientific advisor (for postgraduate students) and consultant (for PhD students). All articles are to be anonymously reviewed by the Editorial Board, on approving the article, the author is to be informed on the following procedures.
5. In case the article is sent via mail, it has to be signed by the author, and have two hard-copies, copy on CD and the review of the scientific advisor, or consultant.
6. In case the article is sent via E-mail, it has to be sent from the authors’ mail-box, in order to keep on further correspondence. Post-graduates have to give their scientific advisor’s E-mail also.
The Editorial Board has the right to shorten or redact the material when it is agreed with the author or reject it in case of inconsistency with above mentioned requirements.
Author is fully responsible for the content of the article.
The hard copy of the article and CD are not to be returned to the author.
